Welcome to Cafecito Central & to our blog "Cafecito Social Club". Sit back, relax and enjoy your stay! before we start, let me tell you a bit about myself. I was born in Brazil, in the southern state of Rio Grande do Sul – Santa Maria.
At the short age of three my family and I moved to El Salvador and later on to Honduras where I spent my teenage years and acquired my taste for coffee.
I have always been fascinated by the Central American culture, traditions & gastronomy, their street food such as pupusas from el Salvador are just amazing and with a cup of black coffee and no sugar, even better…
Travelling through Central America has provided me great life experiences, I strongly recommend you stop by the Copán ruins and the Bay islands in Honduras and el Puerto de la Libertad when in El Salvador.
Now a days i`am an agriculture technician, proudly graduated from Colégio politécnico da UFSM. I moved to the Netherlands in 2014 and live in the amazing town of `s-Hertogenbosch where I ‘am chasing a bachelor’s degree on horticulture & business management and where I also manage project Cafecito Central.
Stay around, on future posts we will learn a bit of coffee culture, forestry, global culinary and `s-Hertogenbosch. I will bring you details from Cafecito central, so expect a few videos and pictures, interviews from coffee experts and farmers.
Thank you for joining me on this project!
I wish you all a great cup of coffee,
José Eduardo López.
